Dr. Rohani Aziz

Dr. Rohani Aziz obtained her bachelor’s degree in Medicine from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) in 1989. She then continued her postgraduate studies in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at UKM and obtained a Master of Obstetrics and Gynaecology in 2001.

Dr. Rohani has extensive experience in dealing with cases in the field of Obstetrics and Gynaecology and has served for over 25 years. Throughout her career, she practiced in several government hospitals and University hospitals. She also served as a Medical Lecturer and was the Head of Obstetrics and Gynaecology Department at the Faculty of Medicine, Universiti Putra Malaysia (FPUPM) from 2005 to 2011.

Dr. Rohani has a deep interest in fertility treatment and during her time at FPUPM, she has collaborated with Reproductive Laboratory of Universiti Putra Malaysia and Serdang Hospital in handling fertility cases. She had also undergone sub-specialisation training in infertility at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia.

She is an amiable, responsible, dedicated, and trustworthy person. Dr. Rohani was well-liked by patients and staff because of such personalities.

Dr. Murizah Mohd Zain

Dr. Murizah Mohd Zain obtained her Medical Degree from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia in 1994. 

After completing her housemanship training at Hospital Besar Pulau Pinang, she practiced at Hospital Seri Manjung for 2 years before pursuing master’s degree in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Hospital USM, Kubang Kerian. She graduated with a Masters of Obstetrics and Gynaecology in 2001 and began her career as an Obstetrician and Gynaecologist at Hospital Alor Setar until in 2006, she went on for her “Fellowship in Reproductive Medicine” training.

She underwent training at the Research Center of Reproductive Health, University of Adelaide, South Australia. In 2008, after completing the Fellowship training, Dr. Murizah established services in reproductive medicine at Hospital Sultanah Bahiyah, Alor Setar. This unit has become a reference centre for in vitro fertilization services for the Northern Zone. With her vast experience in this field, she has trained many specialists in Reproductive Medicine. She has also performed more than 4000 cases of IVF and more than 800 babies have been born through this program.

Dr. Murizah makes regular sessional visits at Vistana Fertility Centre to contribute her expertise to patients at VFC. Since April 2022, she has retired and become Resident Consultant in VFC. 

Despite being a busy person, Dr Murizah still has time to be active in NGO and welfare work in which she is an active member of I-Medic and Head of Women of Ikatan Muslimin Malaysia Alor Setar branch. She is very talented in writing and has produced several scholarly books as well as actively sharing her knowledge on social media.

Dr Hari Ram graduated from MS Ramaiah Medical College under the auspices of Bangalore University, Karnataka, India with a Medical Degree (MBBS)

Dr Hari Ram graduated from MS Ramaiah Medical College under the auspices of Bangalore University, Karnataka, India with a Medical Degree (MBBS) in 1997 and obtained his Masters in Obstetrics & Gynaecology (UKM) in 2005. He has served in the Ministry of Health (KKM) since 1997 starting at Hospital Alor Setar, Kedah followed by Queen Elizabeth Hospital & Hospital Papar in Sabah until 2001. Subsequently, he continued his O&G Master’s training at Hospital UKM & HKL until 2005. He returned to Hospital Tuanku Fauziah in 2005. 

His passion for Reproductive Medicine & IVF prompted him to further his studies at HKL, HUKM and finally at Melbourne IVF, Australia under Prof John McBain, a pioneer of IVF Australia from 2010 until 2013. His obsession in perfecting keyhole surgeries also pushed him further to obtain a Fellowship in Minimally Invasive Surgery at the world-renowned training institute under Professor R K Mishra at World Laparoscopy Hospital, New Delhi, India in 2014. He came back to Perlis to join the KPJ Perlis Specialist Hospital in the same year.

Dr. Maiza Tusimin

Dr. Mai is a Consultant Obstetrician & Gynecologist with subspecialty in Reproductive Medicine & Fertility. She was the Pass Head of Department of Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Hospital Pengajar UPM & have been serving Ministry of Health (KKM) hospital over the past 19 year. She is the Pioneer of Doctor of Medicine (MD), Universiti Putra Malaysia (2001) & the President of Persatuan Alumni Medik Putra.

She has been involved with research & high impact jurnal publication (H-index 6), both quantitative and qualitative studies related to pregnancy,umbilical cord haematopoietic stem cells, women’s health, andrology and infertility.

She is actively providing Continues Professional Development (CPD) lectures and health-related forum and community. She is also a columnist in several local magazine including Majalah Pa&Ma, i-Sihat and the latest, Dewan Kosmik. She is an honorary members of American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM) and European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology (ESHRE).

Nor Nadiah Yusri

Chief Nurse

Nadiah is a registered nurse from the Ministry of Health Malaysia. She completed studies in nursing from University MAHSA College in 2012. Nadiah started her career and gained experience as a fertility nurse at Klinik Pakar Wanita Vistana before joining Vistana Fertility Centre.

With the vast experience she has, along with a pleasant personality, she will ensure that your journey towards pregnancy goes smoothly.

Nur Ilanah Rosli

Scientific Advisor

Ms Nur Ilanah is a holder of BSc. (Hons.) Microbiology from University Science Malaysia (USM) and MSc. Prenatal Genetics and Fetal Medicine from University College London (UCL), United Kingdom.

She embarked her career as an embryologist in 2007, joining Metro IVF as junior embryologist. Since then, she has progressed and served as senior embryologist and laboratory manager for both the Hospital Sultanah Bahiyah and KL Fertility & Gynecology Centre ever since.

She is one of the founding member of Malaysian Association of Clinical Embryologist. Her contributions towards the embryology community at the national level include being appointed as technical expert by Department of Standard Malaysia (DSM) and act as external technology reviewer for Malaysia Health Technology Assessment (MaHTAS).

Her vast experience is key for realizing the Vistana Fertility Centre’s mission in delivering high quality services to our patients.

Najwa Safuhah

Embryologist

Najwa did her preparatory program at INTEC Education College, Shah Alam for 2 years before pursuing her degree at Oregon State University (OSU), USA. She majored in Biology (Genetic) and had been exposed to working in various laboratories including Molecular Biology Lab and Embryology Lab during her studies. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree (Hons) in Biology (Genetic) from OSU in 2020. 

Najwa begins her career as Embryologist at Vistana Fertility Centre while having trained and attached to the Reproductive Medicine Unit, Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Hospital Sultanah Bahiyah. She is passionate to aid couples overcome their obstacles in conceiving. She will try her best to give the best in helping couples achieve their dreams.
